Inside Sales Representative

Inside Sales Representative- St. Clair Shores, MI

About the Job:

The primary responsibility of an Inside Sales Representative is to market the company’s products and services within our database of national accounts and to research and identify potential new customer opportunities. Our products and services are sold direct and indirect to customers and through our national distribution partners throughout the United States. The Inside Sales Representative will interface with both channel partners providing sales opportunities for our Regional Account Managers with the overall goal of driving sales toward our yearly sales forecast.

Primary Responsibilities:

•Generate opportunities at distributor accounts and direct customer accounts throughout the United States & Canada, through heavy phone (95%) and e-mail.

•Utilizing several sources; (incoming marketing leads, industry list’s, personal research and list of existing records in our CRM database), contact/introduce our products and services.

•Obtain and document critical information as well as key decision making person(s) this will result in qualified leads and/or account follow up with outside Regional Account Managers or Sales Manager.

Minimum Required Skills & Experience:

•Associates College degree and/or 2 years of successful sales qualifying skills.

•Understanding of the Fluid Power Industry along with Industrial Distribution and   knowledge of Hydraulic & Pneumatic Cylinders a big Plus.

•Proven effective communication skills.

•Ability to work effectively on a sales team.

•Computer skills in MS Office products.
